About Angel for Congress

Born in Chicago in 1981 under less than ideal circumstances, Angel has always been enamored with good politics that can accomplish over the undesired consequences of a government that oversteps its Constitutional authority.

A Marine Corps veteran and a Political Scientist, with a degree from Southern Connecticut State University, he has lived life acquiring knowledge from several dozen places of employment and has lived all over the country and the world.

A lifelong Republican Angel always questioned the status quo of liberal policies in the places he resided and has quietly fought civil injustices in various levels of government.

Hoping to someday serve the people of the country and make the world a better place, Angel has decades worth of possible legislation that can add growth to the economy, save Social Security, and protect the ideals of America that he holds dear.

In 2009-2010 while deployed in Afghanistan, Angel was given the privilege to have a private conversation with the Commandant of the Marine Corps, General James T. Conway and Sergeants Major of the Marine Corps SGT, Maj. Carlton W. Kent and shared a decades-old idea of instituting a policy to allow the Post 9/11 GI Bill to be utilized for all trades and occupations.

Less than a year later, that idea was signed into law as the "GI Bill 2.0." This single suggestion allowed veterans, their spouses, and their children to gain knowledge and certifications in every industry in the country unleashing a massive amount of wealth into the country and was the catalyst in the subsequent decline in the unemployment rate from 2011 until present.

As of the day of this posting the 27-year incumbent Rosa DeLauro has yet to turn a single idea into a Federal Law.

Angel is hoping to earn the chance to share more ideas and hopes he can earn your vote in November.
